Which is the hotel that we will be staying in Bali?
In Bali, we will be staying in New Kuta Hotel, a Lexington Legacy Hotel. Check-in date: 30th Nov, after 2pm
Check-out date: 22nd Dec, before 12pm
How about my visa requirement?
Please refer the visa requirement as per your country. Indonesia offers Visa-on-arrival for many country citizens as a way to promote tourism in Indonesia. Kindly check up with Indonesian embassy in your country for accurate information.
Visa on Arrival (VOA)
This visa is obtained directly upon landing at major airports and seaports in Indonesia.
The requirements for Visa on Arrival are:
• Expiration date of the applicant’s passport must be at least 6 (six) months after the date of entry
• Round-trip airplane ticket
• Payment of a US$ 25 visa fee
• A minimum of two blank pages in your passport
*PLEASE NOTE* At the time of your departure from Bali Airport, You will also be required to pay airport Departure tax of Rp 150,000 (in local currency) or USD 20 per person
Can you tell me about my accommodation in hotel?
For Bali Inner Awakening, room is allotted on a twin-sharing basis. We offer rooms that are shared with another participant in a room but if you are coming as a family of 3 (two parents + 1 kid or 1 parent + 2 kids), all of you can stay in one room. If you would like to share your room with someone you know, please email us at [email protected] and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Can I do Nirahara Level 1,2,3 or Level 4 (previously known as THE Samyama) during Bali Inner Awakening?
Yes, all 4 levels of Nirahara samyama will be available during the Dec 2013 Inner Awakening program. You can do level 4 (THE level), only if you have already completed levels 1, 2,3 and have your medical reports ready “before” the beginning of the program. Nirahara samyama is available ONLY for Inner Awakening program participants.

What is the weather like in Bali?
The average temperature in Bali remains around 31° C all throughout the year. Decemeber in Bali sees temperatures varying between 26° C – 32 ° C and is quite humid at this time.
Do I need to pay for my tickets to Bali? what else I need to pay for?
Arrival to Bali International Airport (airport code: DPS) will be on your own cost . You will also need to pay for your Indonesian visa (when you arrive) and to pay the departure tax (when you leave). However, once you have arrived, the transportation from the airport to the hotel, and providing transportation from hotel back to the airport will be taken care by us. Volunteer will be waiting for you at the airport with placard saying “Welcome to Inner Awakening”. The hotel is approximately 30-40 mins from the Airport. Just so that you are aware, the cost of cab from airport to hotel costs USD $12-$15 one way. You will not need to pay for the cab.
Will laundry service be provided?
Yes, laundry service is complimentary up to 4 piece per person per day, excluding the towel being provided by the hotel. If you want to give more than 4 pieces per day, then you will be charged USD 1.5 per piece.
Is there any dress code for the program?
It is mandatory that you wear White colored clothes during the regular meditation sessions and black color clothes for Yoga. (Same applies for eNGenius Kids also). You can bring 5-6 pairs of white clothes and at least 2 sets of black clothes for daily yoga sessions. Bring loose comfortable clothes that allow you to easily do yoga postures and meditations. Clothes made of cotton are conducive for warm or hot daytime temperatures. In adherence to the Ashram dress code and with respect to the Vedic culture, men and women participants are not to wear tank tops, tube tops, shorts and hot pants. Please also refrain from wearing scooped necklines, transparent or tight-fitting clothing. Please dress modestly in clothing that covers your shoulders, midriff and legs to the ankles. Despite the climatic demands, your cooperation and understanding in this matter is highly appreciated.
What are the Puja/Homas available for the Inner Awakening Level 4?

What all are available in your hotel room?
Towels (bath and hand towels), soap, shower gel, shampoo, shower gel, vanity kit will be provided in each room and will be replaced each day. Along with that, hot water kettle, refrigerator, tea bags, creamer (with no sugar) and brown sugar will also be made available
Does room have locker to keep the valuables?
Room does not have locker facility inside. However, locker is available at the reception desk for the participants to use.
What about drinking water?
Everyday 1 liter of drinking water bottle is available for each participant every day in the room. Apart from that, we also have water dispensers outside the program hall throughout the day.
How can I be contacted by my family while I am in the resort?
Your family will be able to reach you by calling the hotel reception desk at +62 361 8484 555 and telling your room number. The hotel reception staff will direct the call to your room. Room no will be assigned to you upon check-in at the hotel on 30th Nov.
is Wireless internet available in the hotel?
Yes, Wireless internet (WiFi) facility is available for all the participants. Ask the reception desk for your wireless access code and you should be able to get on the internet very quickly.
Is there a net cafe at the hotel? is there additional cost for use the same?
There is net cafe at the hotel where you can use the computer with internet connectivity. However, there is an additional charge for you to use the netcafe (see below). So, suggest you get your laptop/ipad/iphone if you want to be able to check emails or make calls over internet.

Can I make international phone calls via internet through skype?
Yes, wireless internet available in the rooms as well. If your skype account has skype credit, ou an make international phone calls from skype. For more details, visit http://www.skype.com/en/offers/skype-credit/
What is the process for getting local SIM cards for calling locally and internationally?
We are making arrangements for the participants to purchase local pre-paid SIM cards for use for 30 days. You can purchase them on the 30th of Nov at the hotel. Cost for purchasing pre-paid SIM cards will be USD $2-$5. You can then recharge the SIM card using USD.
What are the timings for the Swimming pool?
Pool timings are from 6am – 11pm. For our group, we have special approval to use swimming pool in regular dress itself.
Do I need to pay any gratuity fee to the hotel/resort staff?
No need for participants to pay gratuity to the hotel staff. However, if you want to, you are welcome to.
Do I need to get Travel insurance during my stay here?
Yes, Travel insurance is a MUST for all Inner Awakening participants. Please get it for the entire duration of your stay in Bali.
What other things do I need to bring?
Bali could get quite hot and humid in December. So, please get your hat/umbrella (to protect from Sun), sun-screen lotion and googles. This will come in handy when we go to visit places in Bali.
What type of electric sockets are available in the room?
Power sockets in the hotel look like the one below. Please get an appropriate converter to use the electronic equipment you may bring along.
